Troubleshooting Login Issues on CallHippo

If you’re having trouble logging in, check the sections below for quick solutions.

Not Receiving OTP, Password Reset, or Activation Emails

Possible Reasons

  • Email delivery delay
     

  • Emails going to spam or junk
     

  • Incorrect registered email address
     

  • Email blocked by company firewall

     

What You Can Do

  • Check your spam or junk folder
     

  • Confirm you’re using the registered email address
     

  • Ask your IT team to whitelist CallHippo’s sender email
     

  • Wait 1–2 minutes and resend the OTP
     

  • Try logging in from a different browser or device

     

If It Still Doesn’t Work

  • The system may resolve delays automatically
     

  • Contact support if emails are bouncing or need to be resent manually

     

Common Login Errors and Fixes

“Your account has been deactivated as a precautionary measure”

Why This Happens

  • Activation link clicked multiple times within 72 hours
     

  • First Name or Last Name not entered during activation
     

  • Login attempted before account activation

     

How to Fix

  • Complete activation using the email link
     

  • Ensure First Name and Last Name are filled in
     

  • Contact support if the account is already deactivated

     

“Your email address is not registered”

How to Fix

  • New users should sign up first
     

  • Existing users should check for email typos
     

  • Try using the Reset Password option
     

“Your account is not verified yet”

How to Fix

  • Open your email inbox (from the registered email ID with which you created the CallHippo account) and click the verification link
     

  • Use the Resend Verification option if needed
     

“Account locked due to 3 failed login attempts”

How to Fix

  • You will receive “account unblock” email on the registered email ID. From the link in the email, you can proceed to unblock the account yourself.
     

  • Use the Magic Link option to log in securely via email or
     

  • Reset your password

“You are not allowed to use staging”

What This Means

  • You’re trying to log in through a test environment
     

How to Fix

Blank Screen or ‘Oops! Something Went Wrong’ After Login

Try These Quick Fixes

  • Hard refresh: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
     

  • Open the page in an incognito/private window
     

  • Switch to a different browser or device
     

  • Clear browser cache and cookies
